A blog is not a book :-)

This blog is written in International English, the fluid ever evolving dialect of people in the Western World who are broadening their mental horizons, exploring different ways of being beyond their own cultural programming.

One request to all readers, but especially the native English speakers: please assess the quality and usability of the texts on this blog using the dictionary and grammar book of your soul.

I write on this blog what I feel inspired to write, when I feel inspired to write it, in no particular order. I hope you'll enjoy the fuzzy logic behind it too.

Mental radar

In the last couple of days, I’ve been working on various projects.
It feels appropriate to share this image of the mental radar, that is part of an analogy of naviagting in life, where I explain how everybody can (easily) tap into ’collective consciousness’....

I think... not only the collective benefits from more individuals doing that (becoming also conscious of the collective) , enabling themselves that way to act (navigate) wisely based on the information visible in the overall view....
The individuals who are involved also benefit from being in a better position... in themselves as well as relative to the people around them.

And since the members of the various collectives also open their minds to what is (really) going on around them in other collectives they relate to..... people are much less 'running into each other', but can see how to 'give way' so they all can reach their destination smoothly, happily and safely, while enjoying the journey....within their own collective, as well as between collectives.

There are various setting possible on your mental radar:

The pin head setting is usuful to see who is moving about in your own community
(not adviced as a default setting for plotting a course (of actions))
The pin head seting is infinitely small part on the mental radar picture in the overall setting.
(gives much more clues on what is relevant in navigating the community to where it desires to go)

Note the lighthouse of ' our wellbeing' always on the map in ' overall view'

Notice how even information in the field of  ' my ' joy is not visible in the micro-view of ' who has which position within the community'

Note: two individuals both in pin head view, see a different mental picture.
Two individuals both in overall view, see the same mental picture, including all the individual joys of the members of the community!

Like with all radar images:‘my position’ never changes.
As always on radars, your own position is right in the middle.
There is no great risk of losing your position. As long as you all pay attention to what you are doing and are navigating the waters wisely and the vessel is afloat, you’ll find yourself right there in any view.

The overall view in more detail:

1 My position
This is something most people need some time for to get their head around, because in this view, one enlarges the view from ‘personal’ position, to ‘collective’ position.
So, .... although the vessel is moving in this world and the individual is moving within it, 'my positon' now indicates ' the vessels' position, where the vessel is the community your are currently operating in. ( the family, the organisation you work for....).

2 My joy
Now we are in the personal sphere of individuals on board ship, part of this community.
Here I am talking about each and every persons individual joy, when it comes to navigating the community.
In this field, the values that matter (have enough significant mass to show up on the radar) to each individual person involved in the care for what is happening are made visible.
Made visible to everybody, who is consulting the mental radar in this view.

Joy may need some more explanation. It is a wider concept than pure pleasure or sheer happiness. In a nutshell: it is also the joy of knowing how to deal in a harmonious way with grief, loss, sadness, challenges etcetera.

3 Care for our wellbeing
This vessel has a purpose, all its movements are aiming to:  CARE.
In all situations.... when what you aim for is not seen, not a noticeable clear dot in the everyday reality (the silver ring of the mental radar) it is very difficult to stay on a course in the right direction.
But if you make sure that the lighthouse of CARE (called ‘our wellbeing’) , the brightest, lightest, biggest dot that really matters is always showing on your mental radar, it is so much easier to see it and adjust your course in the right direction.

Play for yourself with it?

If you want to play with this mental radar setting, you might wonder:" How do I get see that view?'

It is activated whenever you ask yourself:" How does this serve our wellbeing?'
Then stand still and observe the picture and movements in your system.
When you ask the same question to another, you can initiate to synchronise to the same mental radar image and take it from there.

Just realise, the minute you wonder: anything about your personal position, in relation to the people in your community (do I have more of X, Y or Z then......or do they have more than me.....you are switching to ' pin head' view again!
This setting has it's place and use in the world, don't get me wrong.
All I am saying is that if you base your navigational actions in life on focussuing most of the time on comparing/ competeing for positions within your community ... joy disappears off the radar as well as proper care for the wellbeing of all involved, staying on course aiming for the lighthouse.

Remember: Joy is Pleasure, Peace and Harmoney, for all involved.

Links me-time and the Knowing (I)

I’ve been writing a few pieces on me-time on this blog, lately.
I realised yesterday how the link between the two may not be all that obvious.

Seeing how me-time seems to be about disconnecting from everybody else and any activities (often: directly or indirectly for others) one might not immediately see what me-time has to do with the Knowing, with the collective consciousness.

I made an inventory of links I see.
This is the first:

noticing changes in the e-scape of your collective(s)

We all know that it is easier to see subtle changes around you, when you’ve been away for a while. Gradual changes have a tendency to escape your conscious awareness, because you are changing with them, when you are in the process. ( A mother doesn’t see the changes in the face of her 5 year old son she sees every day, it is the aunt that has been away for 3 weeks that clearly notices the difference).

When you take regular disconnecting time, you are allowing  your auto-tuning system to regularly chew on something else.
When you then come back to the (collective) e-scape, your auto-tuning system picks up on the subtle differences compared to last time you where ‘ here’. Giving you a fresh view, with (often subtle) information on what has changed.

Many changes, healthy developments,  like the normal visual transformations of growth in the face of a 5 year old,  don’t need any action from your side.
Although noticing them and resonating with them, acknowledging them on an energetic level, does give a boost to positive joyful developments in your the collective. ( this topic is covered in this and this blog post).

However, catching changes that occur that are slowly but surely moving away from healthy, harmonious and desirable developments early has an enormous advantage: it is simpler to take appropriate actions to steer back, to take supportive actions.

The sooner you realise that a process goes ‘ off track’ and why, the easier it is to intervene and do the necessary to help it back on track. Prevention.
Usually, long before any real problem manifests itself, the first signs and clues are already present.
The engine makes a slightly different sound, the exhaust is fuming a bit more and slightly bluer than normal.... The partner/child is a bit paler, seems slightly pre-occupied and is every day just a fraction later out of bed , ready to go and the twinkle in the eyes is not as sparkling as usual....

Do you need to wait until there is a definite invitation to partake in solving a clearly apparent and now fully life-disharmonising  problem in your collective, before you can do anything meaningful to contribute to the wellbeing for all involved in your community, your collective(s)?
Does the car need to fully break down first, so you nor anybody else can use it unless it gets repaired? Does your partner/child need to have an emotional outburst at work/school first, kicking the person who is bullying into hospital? Does the ‘drama’ really need to happen in its fullest, most difficult to handle form, before you consider the time has come now to give attention to what is ‘ the matter’ in your collective?

“I didn’t know this was happening. Nobody told me! It took me completely by surprise! I didn’t see a problem until this suddenly occured. It isn’t my responsibility that this happened. I couldn’t do anything before anybody asked me to shine my light on the situation........”

Really?

Focussing on what is seen in the world of form, of appearances and manifestations, you can have a point.
In the world of energy, however, you were simply not aware of the significant changes, the dysfunctional patterns in your collective e-scape(s) .

Of course, you may not be the single one person responsible for the breaking down of the car ( the active source of the problem) , or the bullying of your partner/child... but you are response able, when you are able to pick up the signals that are already floating around and respond adequately to it, contributing what you comfortable can in your position. (resourceful)
Being away from the collective with your attention regularly (me-time) and then tuning into it again seeing your response ability to  contribute to the harmony of all involved when something is moving ‘ off track’, is a very kind, loving and responsible contribution to make to your collective.

And to yourself. Less difficult to solve problems arise, because they were caught and solved in an early stage. Such an energy saver!

It is not even an effort, since your auto-tuning system is doing most of the ‘ work’ automatically. It is merely a choice: to increase your response ability, to increase your awareness.

I listed a couple more... to be continued .....

coin sides coincide

Again, working on another project, I created a couple of images.

Illustrating that the two sides of the coin called life, coincide.... even if the links don't seem obvious.

Which made my playful 6 year old wonder:" Are you sure English people you'd like ' coincide'  written like this and not coinside....or even....go-inside?"

Enfin, A few words strung themselves to these images, to complete it as this blog post about the Knowing

I ask the part of me....

The other day, I introduced the ‘ I surrender’ option, which activates a meta-search on all your recent search queries, especially useful when you feel, somewhere down the investigative road, that your queries haven’t lead to fulfilling results.

Today, I’ll introduce a closely related option you can use ‘ on the fly’ of everyday life.

Because sometimes, you simply are not in a position to mull over various options, look into them and then apply a hindsight on an extensive search process. At times, you are in the thick of it, finding yourself right in the middle of a challenging or unusual situation with which you have got to deal ‘right away’.

Just jump in and ‘see what happens’ is likely to produce various outcomes: some with relief:” Pwew, that wasn’t so bad after all, I dealt well with it.”.... some with regrets and disappointments:” OMG... I should have done, I could have done, but instead I did..... I wish I dealt differently with it, in hindsight.”
To increase the likelyhood of the former to happen, over the latter, asking the Knowing to help you ‘on the fly’, helps you for hindsight to kick in before it is too late to deal with it in a better way.

It is like wandering around in a foreign unknown big city where you don’t speak the language.
You can just go and “see what happens”, looking for clues whenever you might need them ( signs in the street, landmarks...and trying to make yourself understood with pointing at things).

But what if you had a smart phone with you with various apps: a plan of the town indicating using GPS on any given time where you are right now?
Highlighting the point of interests as you walk past them, customized to your personal likes?
Access to reviews on the museum you like the look of, but find quite expensive... would it be worthwhile?
Access to translating programs, maybe even to such an extended that you can use it as a translator to speak directly with any of the locals: you speak your language to the machine... it speaks ‘ local’.... the other person replies to the machine in his/her language and you get this reply as clear as day in your own language.
You are in a position of using the available ‘ Intelligence’, on the fly, increasing the possibility that you have a jolly good time: you are not making a fool of yourself, you don’t stress for getting lost and don’t waste money and time on a museum that has a fancy flyer, but is promising more than actually delivering.

And if you use it wisely it is adding to the joy of your stay.
Wisely..... I would see as:” Don’t hide behind it and don’t cling to it all the time, forgetting to looking at other things than the device.....” Because then you might miss the experience of the town itself even while you are there, which seems to me completely besides the point of being there in the first place....!

For using the intelligence of the Knowing, you don’t need a smart phone to run similar apps.
How convenient, you are the device you need here, always at hand.

But like the smart phone isn’t doing anything much for you if you don’t look at it, customize it and act upon its indications... the Knowing isn’t either.

If you are curious about this ‘on the fly’ feature, you need to ask for it to ‘ open’ and reserve some attention on the indications you get and act upon them.

How to ask for it to open?
It is a simple speech recognition command:
“ I ask the part of me who can happily and confidently deal with this situation to take the lead”.
“ I ask the part of me who can happily and confidently deal with this situation to take the lead”.

You can apply it at any given time.
The Knowing detects, like a GPS knows where you are, what ‘ this situation’ is, providing you with all information that is known about this situation, customized to your (known) likes and dislikes and capacities (as your own experience stands) .
Drip feeding the necessary information to you in such a way that ‘ happily and confidently’ can be maintained, never ‘ in the way’ of experiencing the real experience... but enhancing it.....since that is what you are after to experience, even in an unknown, potentially challenging situation.

How to act upon what relevant information comes through, be aware of it?

See how the phrase is constructed.
I ask the part of ME.......to DEAL........

I am giving myself permission to implement  (act upon) the information as it comes through, used by whichever part of me would have the most experience in confidently taking the lead.

That means that my conscious mind doesn’t have to figure out all the time which app needs to be on top of my screen now, which information is most relevant now or how to respond in the most beneficial way!
It is allowing for all the appropriate information to flow and shift naturally, as the situation unfolds, taking all I am, right now, into account.
My conscious mind can in a way ‘ sit back and enjoy the ride’, still  being fully in charge, fully response able, but also not wasting time and energy while interacting with the situation.

Be aware:
This command works until you re-call it, either in words or actions.
That means that by the time your conscious mind start s to actively figure things out for itself (again), fixing a certain aspect onto the top screen of its attention, it stops the flow and natural shift of the ‘on the fly’ customized information stream and also stops it to be implemented right away.

Which is fine, of course.
Just keep this snippet of information in mind, before you come to the conclusion trying this feature that ‘this doesn’t work for me’.
Because it does, it does for everybody since it is part of the packet, part of your built in operating system. But not if you specifically ask it not to, by doing the work yourself , withdrawing the permission to implement information on the fly and this way stopping this ingenious intelligence system to work for you ( with you would be more accurate, I’d say).

If your current customized setting is ‘ no automatic changes allowed’ ( all decisions have to go past me ( the conscious mind).. then .... it follows your lead.
If your current customized setting is ‘OK with outsourcing all the practicalities as long as they are in line with my highest values, desires and levels of expertise’ ( that where the happy and confident comes in), then it’ll flow harmoniously (again).

Conclusion, it follows your lead, always.
Hurrah..... responsibility, in charge, at all times!
I find it makes responsibility a joy rather than a burden: increasing responseability in any given situation.

Personally, I can recommend using it.
And so I just did.

Safety in numbers

For social creatures, there is safety in numbers.
Even for social creatures with don’t have to look over their shoulders all the time to keep an eye on their predators.
Humans find safety in numbers when it comes to decision making: it matters to us what other people think and if the majority thinks something, we feel it is good for us to follow that example.

I guess that is deeply ingrained in our social nature and serves our safety well.

Still, I feel there is more to it than meets the eye, worth a blog post.
It is something I find interesting, zooming ‘in’ a little and zooming ‘out’ a little too on the process of gathering information in social context to feed your decision making processes with.

Zooming ‘ out’

I start zooming ‘out’ with an internet example of taking into account what others think.
General booking websites for accommodations are usually equipped with ratings and reviews, to accommodate for the customers desire to ‘ know what others think’ on this matter.

If you were to see a B&B with appealing pictures on an appealing location with a rating of 4 out of 10, with comments like:” The breakfast tastes like cardboard” and “ the staff is grumpy”....  first thing you look at is probably:”How many people contributed to this rating?”.
If it was 1 person, you may think ‘ incident’ and decide to book.
If it was based  on  124, you’d most likely take the low rating a bit more serious. There is safety in numbers, apparently there is a pattern, this ‘ grumpy breakfast thing’ was not an incident.

You are still free to book it anyway and simply “ see how it goes.”
However, don’t be too surprised if the breakfast does taste like cardboard and is served by grumpy staff.
Of course, you can be lucky and have a marvellous breakfast served by the new cheerful smiling member of staff.

But most people, when given the choice and the available data on previous experiences, will chose to book a nice B&B with more appealing ratings and reviews.

Case closed.....
O no..... not yet, not completely.

For the reviews and rating to be even more valuable in your decision making process, it would help if you knew a little bit more about the people who voted and commented. How ‘ alike’ are they in preferences, what they sought to experience, compared to you?

Picture seeing a not-too expensive hotel with a rating 9 out of 10 (based on 106 entries) , appreciating it in various degrees of being -just in the right spot to have a good time-.
Your finger may already hover above the ‘book now’ button.

But what if your idea for the right spot to have a good time is a calm hotel, home base to sleep well to be walking in nature all day and these 106 content customers liked it for the all-night-every-night disco in the basement and the 24/7 buzzing terraces of bars just next door, conveniently close to the train station to get there?
Still that eager to book?

So.... you’d be on the lookout to identify ‘ your kind of people’, with whom you’ve got a lot in common, to make your decisions more meaningful and likely to lead to nice experiences.
On booking sites... that is not so easy to determine.
However, how convenient..... there is a social network of people you personally know and like, in various degrees.

Let’s have a closer look at this social network.

How many people do you (personally) know, how many individuals are there in your social network?
How many of them would you consider influential on your (everyday) life decisions, in some degree (actively or passively)?

It can be more, it can be less, but for the sake of this blog post let’s set the number on 100. But feel free to work this mental exercise out with your own real numbers.

A hundred, that is a fair bunch you would say, enough to give gravity to valuing what they say and think, especially if they all seem to lean into liking similar choices, finding these matters contributing to their quality of life.

But just as a mental exercise......
  • What if, due to the same cultural programming, most of these 100 are not at all aware of better options.
  • What if, most of these  100 are getting it all ‘ wrong’ assuming that these common options are a real contribution to the quality of (your) life and your wellbeing (in the long run).
  • What if there are better options; better as in... not only satisfying and gratifying now ( pleasure), but also having more appealing harmonious long term effects in important areas of life ( peace, harmony, joy in all your affairs).....

The first question you’d probably ask to protect your network of reliable sources is :” Says who.....?”
This one vague very alternative acquaintance?

Well...
  • What about 100.000 people you don’t personally know, with the same cultural background as you, still alive.
  • What about 700.000 people you don’t personally know, with another cultural background, still alive.
  • What about an infinite amount of people (think millions) , who made their experience available to you, even if they are not alive on this planet, like you, right now.

You may have calculated, that based on your own database, containing 99 entries of rating something as a excellent idea to have a good time (10 out of 10), with only 1 vote indicating the contrary, that you have a 99% score of excellence for this choice, making it a no-brainer to chose it too.

But what if, on a larger scale, in a larger database, (the database of all human experiences), these 99 entries become a small minority... (much less than 0,1%)

What if, in this very same database, your whole cultural alike programmed population alive right now (even if it is 80 million or so), voting ‘ pro’ something, is a small minority in the billions of entries..... (maybe 1% if you count all people alive today),

What if.... even if you took the whole western world as a benchmark it wouldn’t get anywhere near a majority of the people now alive (about 18% of the people live in Europe, North America/Canada or Oceania)

Majority is a very relative term, seen in this light.

And what if you could fine tune, filter in that database on other characteristics than ‘ calling something a good thing to have a good time’?
What if you were then to see that a vast majority of the culturally alike living human beings is not happy with their life (rating it 6 out of 10, on a good day), suffering from many long term and often life threatening behaviour related diseases. Would you still consider this group to be your best shot  to base your (important) life choices on?

What if now, suddenly, in this bigger database, this one vague acquaintance of yours is part of a group of people who actually enjoy life every single day, are happy with who they are and what they do, are fit, healthy, creative and resourceful, experiencing having enough of everything that is important and sharing their resources harmoniously with others?

Even in that vast database, it may only be a small group: 2% .....maybe?
Just a tiny little small group of only 146,5 million souls:  happy, healthy, harmoniously living people, if we count the current world population.

What if this group is unanimous that behaviour X and choices Y are actually decreasing long term wellbeing and health.... the behaviour considered to be “a good idea to have a good time” by your 99 and your 80 million, has in their experience ( not opinion, not theoretical speculations, but really lived and tested experiences!) .... much better (healthier, harmonious) alternatives and they can name them too!?

Well.... how significant is this?
Hardly!?

You are reasonably happy now (6 out of 10, which is average in your social network, not bad at all), reasonably healthy too (7 out of 10) and value those little pleasures of life ( alcohol, smoking, mass produced cheap food, looking at screens for hours in a day (television, computer, smart phones) are just that... the little pleasures to keep an equilibrium to stay at 6-7 rates on happy and healthy.
OK let’s make the matter a little bit ‘ close to home’ and see if significance increases, in this thought experiment.

zooming'in'
Let’s zoom in.....on this scenario:

Unfortunately, you find yourself developing a rare disease. Healthy rates drops to 4 out of 10 and are decreasing..... happy rates follow in its slipstream rapidly.
You consult your doctor, who has no real clue on what it is , let alone what can be done to heal.
But, fortunately, he has a wide circle of 150 doctor-friends and he’s willing to consult them on your case.
Unfortunately, your circle combined with his, contains nobody who has ever dealt with this.

Are you happy with him slicing you to pieces, to examine various body parts?
Are you happy with him, or one of his doctor friends to experiment on you with sticking various generic drugs into your system to see what ‘ sticks’, what might help?

Or would you be interested in getting in touch with the only three doctors alive in this world who have treated somebody with your rare disease successfully?

150 medical experts with no relevant experience, nor proven success in this domain, or 3 who have.....?
There is a possibility that these three doctors are:
  • An Indian doctor in a shanty town.
  • A 90 year old medicine woman in an isolated tribe in Africa.
  • A young practitioner in alternative medicine, now 21, having helped his father to overcome this disease using his natural healing ability at the age of 11.

If you get past  a range of ‘ OMG trust’-issues on ‘ this kind of people’ ....you might think practically: ”We can’t contact them, because we don’t know them and they can’t be found on the internet!”

Seeing what this blog is about.... you may gather that I see other ways of tapping into the experience of these three doctors.

There might be safety in such a small number as 3, or an even smaller number......ONE.
And being part of and being guided by the advices of ‘2% ‘ can make a great deal of difference to the quality of ( your) life.

Holistic ( and reverse) SEO

Anybody who lives in my close proximity might recognise a pattern in the development of these blog posts. The ‘ fuzzy logic’ as described above, has an underlying sharp clear method: HR SEO.
It stands for holistic and reverse Search Engine Optimisation, but can just as easily be understood as: HigheR Self Optimisation.

Which, by the way is ( in my mind) meant to be understood for people who are familiar with ‘spiritual speak’ as: the service of optimisation of the self from a higher perspective. The Higher Self isn’t the recipient in need of the improvement/optimisation... the individual self is sending out requests for it, the Higher Self is providing it... using the Knowing and the soul to exchange this information...

It helps the personal effectively of any self and in its slipstream the harmony in the world enormously along if the self was to listen to the incoming, requested for information.

Back to the fuzzy logic of HR SEO.

I know (and the people around me might recognise this) that the content of a blog post is highly related to the events I experienced in the 24 hours prior to writing this blog post.
Conversations I had, things I saw, things I wondered about, events that happened..... especially if they tick boxes like ‘ new’ and ‘remarkable’ and ‘ having recurring themes’... they seem to get an inner label, that the HR SEO function of the Knowing works with.

I wrote in a previous blog post about the function ‘ I surrender’, where the Knowing can do a search combining all your recent (search) actions on request, when you feel slightly ‘ in crisis’ with finding good solutions.
This HR SEO does something similar, but the drive here is not to get help with something that needs addressing because it holds a problem for you ( something is bothering you) that urgently needs solving.
No, the drive here that you get support to expand, develop, grow in a holistic, sustainable, smooth, effective way.
Relating it to the consumer/creator differentiation: ‘ I surrender’ is a consumer tool, ‘ HR SEO’ is a developers tool for the creator.

Yesterday I was introduced to a ‘ trippy gadget’ developers can use to assess quickly websites: which words occur frequently, how often and what does this mean for the ranking in Google.
This is of no interest to any consumer, browsing away on the internet.
But for developers of a website, if gives ideas on the words other ( successful) websites in the field of their interest use and how well they are found on those words.
New, fascinating and part of a recurring theme (databases information management)...check.

I was also consulted to shine my life coachings light on somebody’s life and desire to make changes on 4 points. In the conversation I had with the vibrational essences practitioner on the team, we talked about the Higher Self and its relation to the self.
New client, fascinating set of seemingly widespread desires for change and a recurring theme ( self-development working with energy)..... check.

Combine it with the material I was writing about for a project creating a self-development tool that encourages people to play with it in a holistic way... and fall asleep.

In the night, every soul connects with the creator side of life.
If you pay attention to what the trippy gadget ‘ HR SEO’ is presenting there, it all gets distilled in insight to write an article that brings all the relevant themes and all the high scoring words into meaningful context, related to what you, as developer want to achieve. It is almost writing itself.

This article is an asset to expand your website with.
This insight is an asset to develop and expand your belief system with.

You belief system is your comfort zone, that is where you can move freely and happily around as a creative consumer of your own life.
Somewhere around the edges... life (also) knocks at your door with challenges and request slightly (or quite some) away from your comfort zone.

“Baker, can you also provide me with some ham, please...?” asks the client.

Are you interested, or are you letting this opportunity to be of service pass, in the light of everything you invest your time in?
If it is one client asking you this, you might reply ‘ No, sorry, I’m not a butcher.. I sell bread products only.”
But if the same question is repeated by several clients and there is room to expand activities ( or a need to bind existing customers to you a bit more in a tightening market)....it might become interesting to make selling ham also part of your service.

Often these knocks on the door come in seemingly random, unrelated topics:
  • “ Baker, can you also provide me with some ham, please...?” is a request that is suddenly more frequently heard from smartly dressed clients between 12.00 and 14.00
  • “ Baker, your health would benefit from working less hours.” says the doctor
  • “ Honey, I’m bored now the children have left home” says the bakers wife repeatedly
  • “Organic Lunch Room closes in This Town, office workers complain” reads the news paper.

Of course, the baker can shape his life dealing with all these knocks on his belief system door as individual requests.
  • “ Sorry, I’m doing selling bread products only”
  • “ Doctor, I can’t work less hours, I have bills to pay. Please give me pills to lower my blood pressure.”
  • “Why don’t you find a hobby.. a painting class maybe.. I’ll pay for it, but please stop moaning about it and do something about it.... ” replies the baker with raising blood pressure feeling annoyed for being bothered for this over and over again  in his already busy life.
  • “Not before long and This Town is dead. Probably the tax system killed this Lunch Room” mumbles the baker putting the paper to the side to eat his supper.

But if the baker was to listen to suggestion from HR SEO, all these events may have been put into the inspiration to look into combining the whole lot into an asset. Pearls in the crown of moving into good health and  good wealth for himself in a happy harmonious community.

The opportunities are already there.
Seeing them, listening to suggestions on how they can all harmoniously align in your development, matching your fields of interest and exploring them further, is quite helpful.

The HR SEO we all have access to, every single night we sleep ( and even during the day, with some awareness training) is a trippy smart gadget of the Knowing I am quite taken with.

Small efforts, the joy of expanding holistic sustainable response ability as a result.

If this slogan applied on a piece of add on-software, you’d expect it to be expensive.
In this case, it’s no add on, it’s already built-in...... freeware, no adds, part of the package of your human operating system!

(Yes, in the last 24 hours, I’ve been diving into the deeper hidden settings of my computer operating system too.....)

Wisdom...

Wisdom is knowledge applied.

Knowledge, information extracted from real experiences, recycled and combined in a meaningful way with the knowledge of other real experiences, onto new situations in order to reach satisfying results.

Notice how there are many verbs in describing wisdom?

If there was a tree of knowledge (let’s call it the Knowing, for the sake of argument), then wisdom is to go there, pick the ripest apple and eat it,  in order to feed yourself and your new experiences with some good food for thought.

Just don’t forget to feed and water the tree..... ( it thrives on receiving your own experiences).

Good quality evaluation

At the moment I am for a project diving deeper in the natural functions of sleeping, within the whole natural organisation of how a human being lives and develops: when respecting the natural rhythm and natural order of things.

Yes, the above sentence contains 4 times the word natural.
If that seems to indicate that I’m putting very purposefully quite some emphasis on it..... that is indeed the case.
Why?
Because I see how ‘we’ are not supporting our own wellbeing very well, by actively doing all sorts of things that are counterproductive to natural healing- and self-development powers of a good sleep .
Or... for that matter...... keeping an eye on/ respecting our own natural rhythms and processes in the 24 hours of a day, full stop. But since sleep is the place where you are not consciously interfering too much with the natural processes of life ( since you are asleep) , it is surprisingly enough a very good place to begin making better choices.

Two functions of sleeping are well known: to e-energise and to process the experiences of the day.

Like chewing food supports your system to digest your food and makes it easier to free up the nutrients and make them available to your system.... I feel chewing your ‘day’ before it gets processed into your system in your sleep, has similar benefits.

As a life coach, I am always encouraging people to keep a journal. It doesn’t have to take more than 10/15 minutes, preferably with good old fashion pen and paper, but just in your mind works well too. As long as you do it with full attention.
Just listing three things about the day (this day, the here and now presence of this last day), just bullet points is sufficient, but you can colour it in with more detail of course:
  • What did I enjoy today... what was I pleased with to see?
  • What did I find challenging?
  • What questions are there on my mind looking at my day? What am I wondering?

Of course, if you feel like reviewing other parts of your life.... fine.
Just make sure you incorporate these three elements specifically pointing to the events of this day.

I am getting a deeper understanding on why this habit of reviewing the day gone by, openly and honestly is such a powerful tool in shaping your life.
The only place in your life where you have influence to shape your life is ‘ here and now’.
The past has gone and the future is yet unknown.
Tomorrow is the first new day into that future. Today contains your most recent experiences with life. Such a rich source of up to date information about you. Intelligence you are free to use in developing your strategies in real-time.

But if you’d rather navigate your way through a modern town using ten year old maps... there may still be some resemblance with your current circumstances......

Even if there was no ‘ Knowing’, the habit of evaluating your day would be beneficial to make better choices based on learning from your own experiences.

However, there is some magic to experience if you openly and honestly send all your experiences and questions of the day ‘ out there’...... You’ll receive suggestions on how to move from here, suggestions on answers to your questions.
Among many reasons: you’re simply more able to receive that information consciously, when you are able to send it consciously too.

Journaling, an investment of your time I can thoroughly recommend.

I surrender, once more with more imagination

I introduced the function ‘ I surrender...’ yesterday, describing how it works, under the bonnet, combining all your (recent) search queries and meta-information gathered in your actions.
The ‘ relaxing your body and mind’ part is the hardest part, so I understand from people talking about this method. Apparently the desire to ‘ do’ something and ‘ think’ something is very strong.

Now, there is a way to accommodate for this, without interfering with the process under the bonnet by starting new search queries and being too active on your system.

You can use your imagination to produce a scene in front of your inner eye that matches the process of ‘ surrendering’. Like a little waiting-movie, that keeps you occupied ( in the right frame of mind) while the surrender-process is allowed the time it needs.

Any scene that fits this description will do:
You release all tension in it and (then) open your awareness to gathering information on where you are and how to proceed next (from standing still).

I particularly like the image of a sailing boat.

Picture yourself as the solo sailor on your trip, all sails tight, catching lots of wind, having the boat tilt sharply to one side, the splashes of water are hitting you whilst you are leaning overboard to act as a counterweight. Your holding simultaneously the rudder in place and the ends of various ropes..
It has been great fun for a couple of hours, but now tiredness is kicking in, your losing strength, confidence and focus. It is all mixing in with some confusion and insecurity, losing track of the navigational points around you. What to do, where to go, how to handle this situation well?

The sailor knows that when he let’s go of all the tension on the rudder and the ropes, the boat will turn back to a steady horizontal position,  slow down to stop and turn its nose into the wind.

Picturing really feeling how all the forces on the ship calm down when you let go of all the steering devices and how your senses shift from being fully absorbed in the activity to feeling the air, the now gentle movements, the scenery around you becoming more clear.......

You may not be going anywhere, but all the reasons to ‘ panic’ ( fear of falling overboard, capsizing, getting lost or losing time going in the wrong direction, hitting rocks....) have disappeared. Doing this gives you time to gather valuable information and start anew from there.

Having taken your mind of the immediate handling of the ship, its sails and rudder, has freed up mind space to allow all relevant information to be received and processed, in a calm state.
You know the exact direction of the wind, its speed, its relation to the point on the horizon you were aiming for to reach, the waves, the traffic around you, buoys and obstacles on your way.
And if you need to confirm things on a chart, you’ve got your hands and attention free now.

This is the information that is available in your vessel.
From there, based on your experience, you will most likely feel the confidence and the know-how building up again, when you’ve got the whole picture clear.
Maybe with less speed and less ‘ hanging overboard’, you’ll resume your journey.

If you really feel lost and need help and guidance, if you and your boat are really not up for making it back for whatever reason, you ask for support at traffic control through the VHF and surrender to their suggestions.

Even if your original quest had nothing to do with sailing ( but with raising children, mortgages, health issues, car reparations, budget issues.... you name it)... you’ll find that while you were watching this little waiting movie in your mind, the surrender-function has meanwhile dealt with the real issues on your mind.

Key is, not to ‘ force’ the sailing story’ in a certain speed or direction, but to feel and relax into when it is time to pull the sails again and steer the rudder again into a certain direction.

Surrender to the story to tell itself, allow the story to guide you, trusting that it works as fast as it can ( which is fast... a couple of minutes is usually enough, in my experience).

Connectivity with the Knowing

When you desire to use the internet, two things are essential, regardless of why and how you want to use it:

  • An electronic  device (powered and programmed)
  • Access to an internet connection

These things can either be bought or borrowed.

When you desire to use the Knowing, two things are essential, regardless of why and how you want to use it too:

  • A device (powered and programmed)
  • Access to a connection

These things are part of the packet and you got it, for free.

Looking after the packet well, it will lasts a lifetime, 100% guarantee by the provider: the Universe.
( interestingly enough, even if you don’t look after it well, it will last a lifetime.)
The whole packet comes with a body, a mind and a soul, working closely together, all having specific functions for your consciousness as a toy/tool.

Very very roughly outlined, not doing all facets enough justice at all, I can describe it in one sentence like this:
The body  is the portable hardware,  the mind the operating system and the soul organises the energy-distribution.

Some processes are programmed by the provider, to ensure service of the highest quality to be provided.
Many settings and routines are programmed by yourself, to match your own preferences of how and why you desire to use this body-mind-soul packet.

Access to the knowing is one of the core base programs, always there, in every working packet.
It is even used every day in its Universal maintenance routines. When you stick your portable hardware in its re-charging position and mode (sleep) , all sorts of processes take place without your  active conscious awareness ( because that is switched to a very low level of ‘ standby’ for the duration of recharging and updating the software).
Try not sleeping for a couple of days and feel how much energy there is left. Not much. You’ve drained your battery. So yes, sleep is recharging you with energy.

Apart from being supplied with pure fresh new healthy wholesome powerful clear energy, also an exchange in information takes place, also through the soul.
The soul , as the energy distribution faculty, can do this very well, since information in its purest essence  is no more/no less than energy organised (vibrating)  in a certain pattern.
Everybody who has dug deeper in how computers work, will know that there is at the core no more to storing information than storing patterns of electrical impulses,  stop the energy flow ( zero’s) and let the energy flow again (one’s).

Some parts of this proces are organised by settings in your system you wouldn’t normally be able to switch of or alter.
Every night, in your sleep, your soul is uploading all your experiences, all the energy vibrations of you of that day, to the Knowing.
It is, on its own device, programmed that way.
But when it comes to information exchange, it doesn’t stop with uploading information.

The soul is also consulting the Knowing: referencing any unusual experiences to your system. Asking the Knowing;” What is known to man about this unknown (to me) phenomenon?”
In the knowing, the vibrational resonance of that experience with something new, is compared with all experiences and ‘ results’ come back: “ Here is what is known to man about this you’ve encountered today”.

That downloaded information gets used in the part of your system you have setup  (programmed) to be allowed to have access to and use this information!

This is where your conscious influence and customizing of the settings begins... how to deal with available information?

Blame is a wonderful search tool

Controversy alert:this  blog post may appear to be going against the grain of many (spiritual) teachings.

I live my life nowadays from the understanding:” There are only good things.”
Knowing:
Everything in the wrong hands or used the wrong way can cause harm.

A hammer is a marvellous tool in the hands of a skilled adult, building something, using wood and nails.
It is of little use to the same person using screws.
When phenomena like  a 5-year old child, anger and a glass plate come into the mix, the very same hammer is seen in a different light.
When nobody ever uses nails and wood anymore, its original purpose may even have been forgotten.

If something gets labelled ( by me or others) as intrinsically ‘ bad’, it nowadays usually triggers my curiosity on at least two scores.

·         Why is it considered ‘a good thing’ to call it bad? What advantages does it have to do so?
·         How can it actually be intrinsically a good thing? How can is serve me/us, when it is used according to its real meaning and purpose?

Blame is considered to be a ‘ bad thing’ in the world of self-development.
It is a horror to your soul,  a sin in the eyes of whichever God you call an authority.
It is associated with bad feelings, judgement and cultivating guilt ( bad, bad, bad) and ruins your peace of mind.
It is not loving to blame, seems to be the perceived wisdom.

And now there is me, praising it as a wonderful tool, a search tool related to consulting the knowing.
That may take some explaining, which I’ll do in a preferred way of mine. I do it by comparison: in an analogy.

Blame is very much like a hammer: usually you are pointing with it, adding some force to it to hit the nail right on the head, in order to fix things, to see a connection appear.
That Italic phrase it not only used to refer to DIY tasks in the physical world. It is also a way of expressing that you’ve found the crux in an abstract problem, that needs dealing with, needs solving, needs fixing.

In the physical world, you can make a meaningful sustainable strong connection between two pieces of wood, use nails and a hammer and some force.
In making a solid connection between cause and effect, in an event where two (or more)  people are relating to each other in an undesirably wobbly way, you use........
blame, best applied shamelessly with some force, to really hit the nail on the head.

Now, the interesting thing I find in being a skilled blame user, is to understand that blame’s purpose it not to screw things up, but to assist in fixing things.

How?
First by understanding that applying blame works most effectively when used on the material, not directly on any person involved. Some safety measure to make sure that everybody stays clear from the force is recommendable. I usually do this work alone, to make sure I don’t hit anybody else accidentally.
But, no matter how skilled you are, every now and then, you will hurt somebody, usually yourself, especially when there is a sense of urgency that some repair work needs to be done quickly and in situ.
Luckily, the more skilled you become, the fewer the occasions where blame hurts .

Secondly, in understanding its place as part of the process of finding a suitable solution, using the knowing.
Blame’s purpose is to detect and really pinpoint relevant information in this quest, in order to formulate a sharp and precise request to the knowing.

Formulating a search query  (a question) is part of finding answers, but it is not the answer, yet!

It doesn’t stop here, although I thank blame here for its contribution to the process so far.

Once the nail is sufficiently hit on the head and the connection is surely there and solid, I put the blame tool to the side. I have no desire of damaging anything! It has served its purpose in a wonderful way.
Was I to continue using blame with force, I would do damage.
Where the result of banging on wood for too long is an indentation, the effect on a person applying blame to long and forcefully is guilt. Unnecessary to achieve anything good, I would say.

What is the result so far of applying blame to the material?
It has connected cause and effects with great precision with values.
It has put the whole packet of relevant information about this situation nicely together:  squared, levelled and aligned. Almost at the speed of light, since blame is designed to stick a marker mag(net)ically to anything disharmonious.

A wonderful packet of marked vibrations and energy, containing everything that is relevant to assess this situation (who is involved, what happened and why), is ready to be send to the Knowing.
All it needs now is releasing it. Ask for guidance to solve this situation gracefully, harmoniously, joyfully.... or however you’d like to handle it. Say thanks and anticipate to receive results ( keep an eye open for any relevant information to reach you, as an answer).

Interesting play on words:

I see blame as a wonderful quick tool to gather relevant information with on an energetic level.
Use blame and you are pointing to the clue(s) in a cause and effect series of events that didn’t go according to plan and could do with repairs.
Living in France at the moment:  a clou, the French word for a nail, is in Dutch, my native language also a word for ‘crucial point’.
